We have plenty of parking and offer a Tesla wall-charger. Our modern and cozy apartment features all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and a relaxing living space. And just outside your door, you can go for a hike in the nearby trails or our adjacent farm, or simply unwind on our beautiful grounds. Jim and Robin provided the perfect place for my wife and I to stay during a 3 month home renovation. The fully functional kitchen, available laundry, and peaceful surroundings made our time away from home bearable. It's hard to beat the location, near Julian, great hiking, and the abundant wildlife was very entertaining. On a personal level, we couldn't have asked for nicer people to deal with than Jim and Robin. They responded quickly to any questions, and gave us good tips on things to do (one highlight was the tour and picking in their strawberry patch!). I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! Steve and Amy
Lovely stay! The apartment was cozy, clean and very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment, and the Keurig machine was great with plenty of K-Cups. Lots of counter space! Plenty of room and it was very homey. There's board games and plenty of magazines/books to read. Jim was incredibly helpful and very responsive when we had a question. Fantastic communication. Also very close by to hiking trails and Julian, the road is very accessible. TV had tons of streaming options and the Wifi was very stable. Highly recommend!
I loved staying at this lovely barn apartment! Just minutes from historic Julian CA, and even closer to the shops and restaurants of Santa Ysabel, this place is a great find, perfect for the getaway I had in mind. Jim was a fantastic and helpful host, I hope to be back sometime soon! Thank you for making my first airbnb experience such a good one!
I stayed in the Barn-partment over the 4th of July weekend, mostly to get away from the fireworks that neighbors set off all week in my neighborhood. It was a charming space, perfect for one or two, with interesting nooks and crannies, very well supplied and organized. It was also dog-friendly, a bonus for me and my 80-lb Great Pyrenees mix. There was an interior staircase that led to an outdoor, small fenced yard that was great for morning and nighttime puppy potty breaks, and plenty of places for walks and exploration. It is located about mid-way between Julian and Santa Ysabel, so easy access to both. My stay was delightful and relaxing, and Jim was a very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend this apartment, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I might just make it an annual retreat!
